The winner in 2024 are L'hypermnésique  by Julien Mouquet (Drama), One Person/Hundred BRIDGES  (Documentary) by Han Zheng, Feu-Follet (Micro Short) by Mickael Abbate, Aura (Experimental) by Eme Eidson, Hamelin 77 (Sci-Fi/Horror) by Javier Ideami, Bird Drone (Animation) by Radheya Jang Jegatheva, Bad (Music Video) by Matt Nothelfer, Equilibrio (Fashion)  by Camilo Velásquez A., Keep It Quiet/Sutim (Student) by Sara Horvatić. 

The French Riviera Film Festival (FRFF), scheduled for May 17-18, 2024 in Cannes, is now in its sixth edition: the finalist short films will be unveiled in April 2024 by co-founders Nicole Goesseringer Muj and Gotham Chandna. Premiering out of competition is Tomas Vergara's new psychological thriller short Quimera, starring Argentine actors Martin Rodriquez (star of the TV series Griselda, streaming on Netflix) and Gadea Jimenez. "2024 will mark a very exciting edition for our boutique short film festival," says Muj, "We’re delighted to be spotlighting the short film genre and recognizing the talented filmmakers and industry creatives from around the globe once again during the time of the Festival de Cannes". The sections are Drama, Comedy, Documentary, Sci-Fi/Horror, Animation, Experimental, Fashion, Music Video, Micro Short, Student, Activism.  

Each year the festival features the works of filmmakers from more than 20 countries. The first day’s schedule was highlighted with a special out-of-competition screening of the new short psychological thriller Quimera by Tomas Vergara, starring Rodriquez and Gadea Jimenez. At the official opening reception and closing awards ceremony, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Audience, Rising Star and Industry Excellence awards were also presented.
