Spoleto is an ancient city of Italy, founded in 241 BC. The ancient and lay buildings are Rocca Albornoziana fortress, Ponte delle Torri, Roman amphitheater, Temple of Clitumnus, Duomo (Cathedral) of S. Maria Assunta, that houses a manuscript letter by Saint Francis of Assisi. Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of the Two Worlds) take place In Spoleto: it's one of the most important cultural manifestations in Italy of music, theater and dance.
