Have you read Tom Perrotta's novel?
I started it but never finished it! I started it on the plane ride to Austin when I originally booked the role, but I put it down after a page or two because I didn’t want to learn that world. Yes, Tom helped write the show and his voice is still very much a part of that, and yes the story is originally his, but at the end of the day, the book and the show are going to be two different worlds, and I didn’t want to get them confused. I should read it now!
