How did you film the series?
We filmed it 100% remotely with iPhones. Most independent projects were shut down because they didn’t have a budget to pay for all the Covid costs. So what we did with "Pandemic Pillow Talk" was pretty revolutionary. We refined it as we were shooting to figure out what technology would work best for what we were trying to do. All of us actors had to be our own crew! We had to work the camera, mics, lights, do our wardrobe, hair/makeup, set design, and be tech wizards. We were directed via Zoom, which was a very unique experience. So, the series was filmed in each of the actors' own homes without any of our crew going inside. A kit with the gear was dropped off at the actors homes and they had to do everything!
