Interview with author John Connolly

Whenever I look back at the past, it always seems to be a grimmer time than now.  I tell my kids, who worry that the world is falling apart around them, that the world has ALWAYS appeared to be falling apart around us.  I’d like to go back to a time before cell phones, how about that?  I think they’ve made the world a noisier, less private, and more solipsistic place.  And I’d like to be Bertie Wooster in the P.G. Wodehouse’s Jeeves & Wooster novels, because he appears to have quite the life, awkward aunts apart.
