Sander van Doorn is a electro house DJ and record producer. He released more than fifty songs and remixes, and three albums. In 2019 with Hardstyle Frontliner he published  ‘One Love’.

Q. How was the song “One Love" born?

A. Frontliner remixed of one of my tracks ‘Bergen’ and after that we decided to head into the studio together to create something fresh! I am super happy with the result. Was definitely one of the best collaboration experiences I’ve had.

Q. How did your passion for music begin?

A. From a really young age I was drawn to dance music and became very passionate about it. I listened to hardcore when I was very young and from there I developed an interest in other genres. At 18, I got a groove box as a present from my brother and from then on I was hooked on experimenting with different sounds.

Q. When you see young people dancing to your tracks and remixes, how does it make you feel?

A. It’s the best feeling ever. Being able to make people happy with your music is one thing, but actually seeing it first hand it really is something special.

Q. Do you think there’s an age where people should stop going to nightclubs?

A. When people start having kids they don’t go clubbing so often anymore. I see the audience change every year.

Q. How is a dance song born, and what importance does the use of the computer have?

A. It starts in my mind with an idea and then I head into the studio to develop it at the computer. Of course nowadays computers are super important and can’t imagine a life without them anymore.

Q. Why did you do the remix of Lady Gaga's Marry The Night. What is it you admire about her?

A. She oozes talent and is a true performer. Her voice is very unique.

Q. Which country has the best crowds in your opinion?

A. South American countries have so much energy and India too. Makes playing there a lot of fun.

Q. What is your next project?

A. I have a new track coming out next month that I am really excited for and it will coincide with Miami Music Week! Also looking forward to heading back to Australia for a couple of shows there.
