Faith Schueler, who is the singer and the woman? How much does her music say about her?

I am a country singer from Charleston, South Carolina. I would describe myself as creative and highly motivated. I love to do things that challenge me and make me better which is why I chose the path of a country music artist. My music says everything about me. I love to write about personal experiences in hopes of inspiring others. You never know who is out there listening to your music and how your songs can change the lives of people who have gone through similar experiences. I don’t write music just for myself, but for the people listening.

Where did her passion for country music come from?

My passion for country music came from my mother. She would sing to me all the time when I was a little girl and I would make her repeat songs over and over again until I learned all the words. My mom and I would turn up some country music in the car and sing. It is one of my favorite memories I have with my mom and I feel like it molded me to be the person I am today.

Where does she find inspiration for her lyrics?

I find inspiration from personal experiences in life, relationships, and friendships. Sometimes, a friend will tell me a story of some ordeal they have been through and I’ll feel inspired to write about it or I’ll jot my feelings down on a piece of paper and write about my own life or what I feel could help someone else.

You were born in Charleston, how would you describe your experience living in the city and how or how much has it influenced your life as an artist?

Growing up in Charleston definitely had a huge impact on who I am today. My parents have always been supportive and made it a point to attend all of my shows around Charleston when I first started performing at the age of 13. I grew up by the ocean which made me really appreciate coastal country music and I grew up listening to Darius Rucker, who is also from Charleston. I saw Darius become a huge star, and it inspired me to hopefully one day do the same.

What is your next concert? And if it were possible to anticipate, what new song are you working on right now?

I am playing at New Realm Brewing on Daniel Island, South Carolina December 7th and also making my Whiskey Jam debut in Nashville, TN on December 9th! Whiskey Jam has been a starting point for just about every Nashville recording artist. I have so many exciting projects in the works right now. You can look for my new song “Crush” coming in early January of 2025.
