Riverdale, interview with actress Nathalie Boltt: "Consider yourself enlightened"

Nathalie Boltt played in Tv Series Riverdale, Origin, The Poseidon Adventure, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Astronauts and in movies District 9,  24 Hours to Live starring Ethan Hawke.

The show is based on the characters from Archie Comics. Had you read the comic book series?

Yes,  growing up in Johannesburg, South Africa, I was a HUGE fan of the Archie comics and used to go to the local store every week with my pocket money to get gum and a comic. I was mainly on Team Betty’s side. I remember reading one comic strip where Reggie asks Archie to ‘enlighten’ him about something and then Archie pushes him into a lake and says ‘consider yourself enlightened!’ I got a dictionary to look up the word ‘enlightened’ and it has been a big influence on my life ever since!
